What happens when you cancel

| Sādhanā Course (₹251 one-time) |
Course is one-time, not a subscription — there's nothing to cancel. Your 365-day access continues regardless. |
| Siddha (₹999/year) |
You keep access until the end of your paid year. Then access reverts to Free. No more charges. |
How to cancel
You have two ways:
Option 1: From the AskGeeta app
- Sign in at askgeeta.in
- Go to your Profile (click your avatar in the top right)
- Find the Subscription panel
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm in the popup
- You'll get a confirmation email immediately
Option 2: Via Razorpay (independent backup)
- Go to razorpay.com/customers
- Sign in with the same card/UPI you used to subscribe
- Find your AskGeeta subscription
- Click Cancel
This is your independent path that works even if our app is down. We respect this — no lock-in.
What stays after you cancel
Your data stays with you. We never delete your bookmarks, course progress, chat history, or downloaded verse cards just because you cancelled.
- Saved bookmarks — keep forever (Free feature)
- Course progress — keep for the remaining 365 days of your purchased course
- Chat history — kept in your localStorage on each device
- Downloaded verse cards — already on your device, no DRM
- Account itself — stays active. You can re-subscribe anytime without re-creating an account.
What goes after you cancel
- AI chatbot access — ends when your paid period ends
- Daily verse on WhatsApp (personal) — stops at end of paid period
- Daily verse to your WhatsApp group (Devotee bundle only) — stops 2 days after billing due date if payment fails
- UPI AutoPay mandate — automatically revoked. We will not charge you again.
Failed payment is NOT cancellation
If your card expires or a renewal payment fails, you enter a 32-day grace period:
- Your premium access continues during grace
- You'll receive emails asking you to update your payment method
- Razorpay automatically retries the charge
- If payment is not collected within 32 days, your subscription is cancelled and access reverts to Free
To prevent this, just update your card on Razorpay.
Re-subscribe after cancel
You can come back anytime by visiting askgeeta.in/#pricing. Your account, bookmarks, and history will be exactly as you left them.
Want to continue? Cancellation is final at our payment provider. To resume auto-renewal, please start a new subscription anytime from
/pricing. Your existing access continues until the end of your current paid period.

If your "Cancel" attempt seems stuck or fails — please email us immediately with your registered email address. We will manually verify and process the cancellation. Do NOT initiate a chargeback before contacting us.
